Mauve will provide a subject and detailed instructions to combine color, create shape and texture, and a relaxing experience. No previous art or painting experience required!
With three dates to choose from, there’s no excuse to not come! (2/28 — 3/13 — 4/3)
Spots are limited to 12 artists each month. Save $10 by signing up with a friend.
February’s session will include instruction on how to paint a whimsical bicycle with a basket of flowers and beer!
Mauve Haas is the alter-ego of artist & photographer Heather Hanson. Much like her inspiration; Bob Ross, she enjoys painting as a form of expression, relaxation, and anxiety release. She draws ideas for her projects from colors, light, and masters like Degas, Monet, Manet, and Van Gogh.
Miss Myra and her trio bring a fresh female-driven perspective to traditional New Orleans and hot club jazz, playing a broad repertoire of classic tunes from the ‘20s and ‘30s and inspired originals. With powerful vocals, smoking horns, and sweet rhythm, they are guaranteed to lift spirits and fill the dance floor.
This is a free, family-friendly event (kids are welcome!)
The MN Hard Bop Collective explores Jazz with a rotating group of professional musicians, headed by drummer Jesse Simon. Each weekend is a different theme, with February (and March 1) exploring Black History Month in music.
This is a free, family friendly event!
That’s all for now, Cheers!
