Join us Saturdays in May in the #BoomRoom for a special cask of Brimstone! Tomorrow, May 9th experience Brimstone infused with Sichuan Peppercorn, a unique spice with aroma and flavor that has “slight lemony overtones and creates a tingly numbness in the mouth.” It has often been used not only as a spice, but in traditional Chinese medicine as a sort of anesthetic.
Each week we will offer a Brimstone Tripel infused in some way with pepper, thus the “Fire & Brimstone” moniker. When you think about it, there is an array of different kinds of peppers, and we intend to use a variety of flavor profiles in our beloved Tripel. Will we weave in the subtle sweetness of a red pepper, or have you breathing Ghost pepper fire like a dragon? Come in and find out.
